Light from the full moon is reflected onto Buzzards Bay in this black and white seascape taken at Allens Pond in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Allens Pond is a nature preserve located in the southwestern corner of Dartmouth, Massachusetts on the border with Westport, MA. It has many hiking trails as well as a coastline area. A small section of the coastline features some darks rocks protruding into the water. The sculptural quality of the rocks attests to the action of the incoming waves over the millennia. And likewise the incoming waves are modified by the shapes of the rocks.
