This black and white abstract photograph was taken at Weston Beach in Point Lobos State Park on the California coast south of Carmel, California. Weston Beach was named in memory of the photographer Edward Weston who lived in the nearby Carmel Highlands. This particular location is rich in weathered abstract rock forms sculpted by the Pacific ocean over millions of years.
