Blackstone River XXII BW
A black and white winter landscape photograph taken on the Blackstone River Greenway in Blackstone, Massachusetts by Dave Gordon. The Blackstone River begins in Worcester, MA and flows through several towns in Massachusetts and Rhode Island where it provided power to several mills erected along its southeasterly path. It flows into the Seekonk river south of the Slater Mill in Pawtucket RI.

Blackstone River XXIV BW
Exploring the edges of the Blackstone River in Albion, Rhode Island, I encountered many ice formations created as ice builds up on the vegetation in the winter months. Many have a beautiful sculptural quality which makes for glowing black and white photographs such as the one shown here.
